- Small, minimal Tropical Storm Alberto sits off the northeast Florida coast.

- Alberto is beginning to head east and then northeast, remaining well offshore.

- Increased surf and rip current threat are the only effects of Alberto for the coastal Southeast.

- Alberto moves east of North Carolina Tuesday, weakening to a depression.

- Meanwhile, Tropical Depression 2E is located well south of Mexico in the eastern Pacific.

- 2E will soon become Tropical Storm and then Hurricane Bud.

- Then, Bud could hit southwest Mexico late week.
